Job Duties/Description:

  • Process customer payments, prepare deposits, and record transactions accurately.
  • Maintain documentation for receivables, payables, payroll, and financial records.
  • Enter and review vendor invoices, verify accuracy against purchase orders, and process timely payments.
  • Manage customer credit reviews and perform collections activities when needed.
  • Prepare and file required sales tax returns on monthly, quarterly, and annual schedules.
  • Process bi-weekly payroll and complete related tax deposits and quarterly filings.
  • Maintain employee records including PTO tracking, timekeeping, and benefits documentation.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and prepare supporting schedules for month-end close.
  • Generate monthly financial statements and analyze general ledger activity.
  • Maintain inventory records, reconcile counts, and process required adjustments.
  • Support pricing updates, margin reviews, and creation of product pricing materials.
  • Prepare month-end and year-end reports and ensure completion of required checklists.
  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and analyze expenditure variances.
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners, including insurance and benefit providers.
  • Maintain internal controls, ensure compliance with financial policies, and safeguard confidential financial information.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years of accounting experience.
  • The need to multi-task, meet deadlines and maintain a high degree of accuracy is essential.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and takes the required initiative to complete tasks and job responsibilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced work environment.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills with an exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information in compliance with state and federal HIPPA regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
